“Diet is die with a T.” Quote: Garfield the cat.
Fat is a nutrient. Salt is a nutrient. Cholesterol is a nutrient.
The diet tells you, “don’t eat fat.” The diet tells you, “don’t eat salt.” The diet tells you, “don’t eat cholesterol.”
But these are nutrients, and if you don’t eat nutrients, you starve. And when you starve, you die.
Diet is die with a T. There’s wisdom in Garfield.
That is why I wrote The Livet.
The Livet is live with a T. It is the new Bible-based meal plan, where the only health food that you need to eat is the fruit of the tree of life.
The Livet has three rules:
Rule number 1: Eat whatever you want, and don’t feel guilty about it.
This comes from the Bible on page 462, where it says, “Eat honey, my son, for it is good.”
You know, we can’t be certain whether a food is healthy or unhealthy, but we can be certain that guilt is not healthy. So eat whatever you want, and don’t feel guilty about it.
Rule number 2: Don’t overeat.
This comes from page 463 of the Bible, where it says, “If you find honey, eat just enough.”
You know, this isn’t as simple as it sounds because sometimes, you need to eat a lot of food. That’s called a feast. But if you eat too much, that’s called gluttony. So you need wisdom.
Rule number 3: Obey your hunger.
This comes from page 308, where it says, “See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little honey.”
Now, some people need a book to tell them what to eat. But when you’re on the Livet, you don’t. You listen to your body to see what you’re hungry for. On page 308, this is Jonathan saying this. After he was battling uncircumcised Philistines, he was hungry, and he saw honey and he ate it because he was hungry. It’s that simple. He was obeying rule number 3 of the Livet.
Get off your diet. Get on the Livet. Stop starving yourself. Start feeding yourself.
Some of you may be wondering, Jimmy, where is the fruit of the tree of life? Well, it’s in heaven. I’ll see you there.
