Science is a Fallacy. Q.E.D.

Science is a fallacy.

In the normal course of logical reasoning, you start at a premise, and you move from premise to premise until you arrive at a conclusion. Just like crossing a river from bank to bank. You start on one side, step from rock to rock — or premise to premise — and arrive at the other side.

But science is like starting at a premise — or one side of the riverbank — walking on a tightrope, jumping the space from buoy to buoy, and then landing way on the other side somehow.

You can’t do that. It’s a fallacy. Science is a fallacy.

Some people just still aren’t convinced. I think it might help if I wrote a syllogism.

We all know what a logical syllogism is. Actually, that’s a false assumption. We SHOULD all know what a logical syllogism is. But we don’t.

Anyway, for those of you who do, you know that we have:

if A –> B

if B –> C

so then A –> C

Q.E.D.

Some people are like, okay Jimmy, I can’t wait to see how you’re going to disprove science. Okay. Here you go.

S
A –> B, where S = science

Now here’s how you prove science is a fallacy. Draw a big X over the whole thing. There you go. Q.E.D.

Some people want to know how I can know this. It’s because I’m a Christian. I believe in Jesus, and I love him. The Bible says on page 758 that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.” From what I understand, “word” in Greek is “Logos”. Logic.

Now some people are really upset that I would say that science is a fallacy. But science IS a fallacy. There is no pure science. But there is pure logic. There is a pure Logic personified in a person: Jesus Christ.

It would probably help if I explained it, not in a syllogism, but in terms of our illustration of crossing a river from one bank to another. How do you get from one side to the other? You’re going to have to use a bridge. This bridge is Jesus.

Some people are like, “Jimmy, there are a bunch of holes in your argument.” Yeah, I know there are holes in this metal bridge. The holes are there for a reason. It makes the metal stronger. Some people focus on the holes of this argument. Well there’s another reason the holes are there. To test your faith. Do you have faith in the bridge of Logic of Jesus Christ?

You know, I get the feeling that a lot of you have been desensitized by science. You can’t handle abstract thought. You can’t handle all this pure Logic I’m dishing out. Okay, well, if you can’t handle the abstract, maybe you can handle an impression. A specific.

The Word states on page 800, “Circumcision is of no value.” In fact, the Word states those who insist on circumcision should go to the whole way and emasculate themselves. But science says circumcision should be routine. It’s just… healthier.

Another example. Jesus Christ said to His followers, “You are the salt of the earth.” And he meant that in a good way. What does science say? Science says salt is bad for you. Don’t eat it.

The Bible says the Word created everything you see. Everything that exists was created by the Word. But science teaches that everything that exists arose from nothing. Nothing gave rise to everything. That is a fallacy in the purest sense of the word.

Science is a fallacy. Q.E.D.
